John
M. Greviskis is originally from the shores of Lake Erie in
Northern Ohio. As a boy, his interest in boating and his vision
for television were his two sole passions. As a theatre major
in college, John played many large roles in over thirty-five
different productions. His talent was noticed, and he was
cast for the role of Benny Popadopolis in the films "The
Hoods" and "The Final Goodbye."

John moved on to Florida, where he entered the world of Radio.
He spent the next ten years mastering the art of "theatre
of the mind," winning countless ADDY awards for his production
capabilities.
Upon
formation of G Force Advertising (his own advertising agency),
John began his work in television production, starting with
thirty-second commercials, and eventually moving into the
half hour infomercial arena.
Ship Shape TV is John’s
brainchild, now beginning its 13th season.
Ship Shape TV is now also seen on regional networks
including Fox Sports Net New York, Fox Sports Net New England,
Fox Sports Net Florida, Fox Sports
Net South, Comcast SportsNet Chicago,
Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic and Comcast SportsNet West,
along with a classic show on Sun Sports.
John writes, directs, produces
and stars in every one of the over 500 episodes created.
He added another 52 shows in the 2003-2004 season...26 for
Fox Sports Net and 26 for Scripps Howard DIY Cable Network.
In 2005, John slowed down a bit, in order to create some
of the finest Ship Shape TV episodes ever.
John works with some of the
best minds in the marine industry in order to convey vital
maintenance, accessorizing and repair information to the
boater. Each week, different projects, repair and/or improvements
are addressed.
To round things out, Ship Shape
TV occasionally features selected manufacturers' facilities.
Viewers are taken straight to the source to see how some
products, which are manufactured on boaters' behalf, are
produced and created.
